You will need to know the skills from Basic Sewing 1 for this class.
A perfect follow-up to Basic Sewing 1. Make an adorable waist tie apron with detachable potholder conveniently placed at the waist. You will learn how to work with batting, finish seams with bias tape and do simple machine quilting.
3 hour class taught by Jin Kim.
What you need to bring
- 1 yard cotton or cotton blend fabric, pre-washed
- OR, if you would like to use a contrasting fabric - 3/4 yard of majority fabric and 1/4 yard of contrast fabric, pre-washed
- Thread to match your fabric
- 10" Velcro strip
- 1/4 yard heat resistant batting
- If you don't want to make your own bias bring 1 yard pre-made 3/4" bias tape

- 2” transparent ruler
